Falling in Love with Victoria
Hong Kong was called by Queen Victoria "a barren rock with nothing on it" when she was first colonised by the British. The British, European traders and merchants then worked hard to build up this Victoria City in the Far East, and eventually, she developed into a world metropolis today. This tour will take you to explore the key structures built up in the early colonial age and how it turns into an international city today.
This walking tour will explore the Former Victoria Police Station and Victoria prison, Former Supreme Court Building, St John Cathedral, Guard House of the Former Governor Residence on the Peak, and Explosive Magazine.
